People often fail to distinguish between culture and religion, Two things that are completely different..

Everybody focuses to Muslim women worldwide as oppressed, more specifically the Muslim Women of Afghanistan .

The media shows us how oppressed the Muslim women are there and people start linking three words in their minds: ˜Islam, ˜women and ˜oppression. Therefore, they think that Islam commands oppressing women.

People often fail to distinguish between culture and religion, two things that are completely different. In fact, Islam condemns oppression of any kind whether it is towards a woman or in general.

Now, the Qur'an is the sacred book by which Muslims live. This book was revealed 14 centuries ago to a man named Muhammad who would later become the Prophet. Fourteen centuries have passed and this book has not been changed since, not one letter has been altered..

In surah number 33, entitled Al-Ahzab (Arabic for 'The Clans'), on verse 59, it says: œO Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw cloaks all over their bodies. That will be better as they shall be known (as free respectable women) and will not be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful. This verse shows that Islam makes wearing a Hijab necessary, Hijab is the word used for covering, not only the headscarves (as some people may think) but also wearing loose clothes that are not too bright.

Sometimes, people see covered Muslim women and they think oppression. This is wrong. A Muslim woman is not oppressed, but she is liberated.. This is because she is no longer valued for something material such as her good looks or the shape of her body. She compels others to judge her for her intelligence, kindness, honesty and personality. Therefore, people judge her for who she actually is.

Women cover their hair to be modest. When they wear loose clothes, they are trying to be modest. In fact, nuns cover their hair out of modesty. Also, when we see frequent pictures of the Virgin Mary, she is covering her hair out of modesty. Therefore, Muslim women are doing the exact same thing as righteous Christian women.

The lives of the people who accepted the Qur'an changed drastically. It had a tremendous impact on so many people, especially women. It was the first time openly declared that the souls of men and women are equal. They would be bestowed the same obligation as well as the same rewards.

In addition to being equal to men, women get economic independence. The money they bring into marriage is theirs as well as the money they earn. A woman is allowed in Islam to choose their own husbands and in extreme cases, divorce. A woman has the right to be educated, contrary to what the contemporary world might think. The responsibility is of the person who is raising her.

Now picture this: Fourteen hundred years ago Islam allowed women to vote for a leader. It was recently, in 1925, Canadian women became allowed to vote. Worst, in Quebec , the law became final in 1940. Muslim women got rights before Western women got any.

Islam is a religion that holds women in high regard. Long ago, when baby boys were born, they brought great joy to the family. Girls brought less and occasionally none. Actually, girls were hated so much that they were sometimes buried alive. Islam was always against this female infanticide.

The two great roles a woman plays in life are a wife and a mother. The Prophet once said to a group of men: œThe best among you are those who are the best to their wives. This shows that Islam highly encourages the well treating of the wives. This should be shown love, respect and care.

A man came to the Prophet, sallallahualayhe wa sallam, and asked: œWho among my kinfolk is worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet, sallallahu alavhe wa sallam, replied: "Your mother" three times before saying: œYour father. This indicates the impact that a mother has in a person's life. So women are highly honored in this great religion. Islam is a only religion that treats women fairly. Oppression is condemned. I hope all of you know and remember this.

Carbon Dioxide is a greenhouse gas. It allows light to pass through but traps heat. Here’s how it works: CO2 absorbs certain wavelengths of energy. This means that radiation from the sun can enter the atmosphere as light. Once this radiation hits the ground, it turns into heat. This heat then radiates back into the atmosphere and out into space. CO2 traps some of the heat.

CO2 has gone from roughly 280 ppm (parts per million) in the atmosphere before the industrial revolution to about 380 ppm now. Each year humans pump out about 6 billion tons of CO2 with an annual growth rate of about 1.9% predicted between 2001 - 2025 (although actual emissions growth was 3.2% per year from 2000 to 2005).

And rest if u wanted to know Google it buddies!!! And very interesting thing about this city is this is the land of Dreams Every one goes there with an intention of becoming a Bollywood Star...In this city of there are many many types of businesses and Services. But very interesting and motivating business is the business of Dabbawalas one who carries boxes.
There is a good reason why I have selected the thing to be posted because it is the only business
which is 100% accurate. There are about 200000 Tiffin boxes get moved everyday by 4500 to 5000. This Job seems to be very easy but it is highly specialized and it has become integral to Mumbai's culture.

It was started by a single individual with about 100 men a decade ago. Nowadays Indian businessmen are the main target of these people and their services also includes cooking and delivery.

Working procedure:

Every morning they go for the collection of the boxes from the houses they just can spend their 90 secs of time in front of each house if you are late then you'll miss him. Actually i think it is the best way to reduce unemployment rate!..... These Dabbawalas are also studied by Oxford and Harvard universities and they have a subject which is similar to the concept of this business! ...... So think out some creative and low cost ideas and get popular worldwide!!.......;)...t.c.

There are many controversies regarding this theory which states that "If u can travel faster than light into the space and if u can invent a telescope through which u can see millions X millions of miles U CAN SEE THE PAST"....hehe is that possible??

You people know why i planned to discuss about this theory because were many controversies in our class too. Between Kaira, Salim and me.

Salim stated the above theory to me during lunch then he passed it on to Kaira who completely objected theory. Yes i agree that travelling faster than light is not at all possible if u even succeeded you will become unstable and turn into matter....hehe...

Do you know light travels 186,000 Miles Per Second...and till now we have only reached the max speed of 30,000-50,000 miles per hour!!...???....just imagine!!

As we all know that the sun rays take 8min approx. to reach on earth!...so when ever u look at the sun it means you looking at the sun which was 8 min ago at that place.Many of the most distant stars we see are already dead or non existent but the light continues to travel.

OK let us assume that we got the speed of light.....can we still see the past???

Kaira asked this question and replied himself..."the reflected light comming from earth may not be sufficient for you to be able to see at the position you are(millions of miles from earth)"

Our Defendant Salim reminded him of the Powerful Telescope which helps you to see THE PAST...oposition was so week that it was draging in usless topics were irrelevant...

Guys if we can discovered that type of telescope we can easily look at other planets for living forms on them...And some statements support that wen u looking in space it is past...may be some millions of years...

This discussion took the whole day but at the end it didnt conclude because both are impossible.....

But when u think of posibility its just an imagination...illusion, but the physical proofs doesent exist.

When the lecturers takin attendance Kaira once shouted wen my name came as "shes present"

den asusual we took it casually....but it continued.......continued to the extend that today in our communication class wen our lecturer wanted us to present something....den the most of dem changed the genders...hehe....U CAN PUT THE BLAME ON KAIRA......and yes ofcoure all did that....

But one thing i want to mention here...after class wen i spoke to Kaira he told me a good point dat

he wantedly changes the gender to make fun....but guys were not wantedly doin dat??

So now i leav da decision on u to decide WHOS fault is dis???......hehe...

But u cannot put da blame on kaira, she is innocent.....oops!! wat im i sayin....kairaaaaaaaa wer the hell r u???....im comminnn.............
